That's the heading of an ad in today's newspaper. I didn't read it, but I can imagine.

1. Rob a bank.
2. Embezzle from your employer.
3. Blackmail a rich person.
4. Start a Ponzi scheme.
5. Print your own money.
6. Insider trading on the stock market.
7. (Your suggestion), but remember that referring to pol... will get this sent to The Attic.

If you serve as president of the US for 1 term you're good to retire without any money saved.

Jerry!

Similar to the old saying for trading in the stock market: To make a million $ in the stock market, start with 2 million dollars!"

"To retire with $500K, start with 1 million $!"

Be well! Ed

Buy a small island and declare it as a country... Then:

Seek assistance from USA. ... And/or... Declare war on the USA, then demand assistance

I plan on taking a walk every day. I should find a penny per day where ever I go. I have found $200.52 since I started this plan. At this rate, it will quite a few years. But I’m in it until I manage to save/find all that money. It took me several months of saving the water jugs from work.

By not doing any thing illegal I should score big in a few years. Yeah!

Since timing is damn near everything ----
What "IF" you had the 500k or pretty close to it say in 1997 and then invested it & found a way to stay alive & put up with being employed for yet another eight to 10yrs -
This "could" be a true story or "not"
Otherwise, I think you are eating day old Rice Cakes

I’m not really fond of Rice Cakes. I would rather have a bowl of Ramen Noodles

Save till it (almost) hurts! I saved like crazy when we were 1st married, in order to build our home. Made something, like $8.00 per hour at the time. I was saving around $1000 per month, and my wife thought I was crazy! I Squeaked when I walked, lol. Still do fairly good, particularly at spending it, lol. In my opinion, the worst thing for a 'budget', is restaurants!

Have you seen the movie, "The Mouse That Roared" which is based on the latter part of your recommendation?
