The one fox den that I still know of finally had babies out. They were out for like an hour, so you will likely get very tired of fox photos..... I have just started working and here are a few.

PhotoLady, the first thing I noticed on your photos were the foxes pupils, slits like cats...

Further research:

The small red fox (Vulpes vulpes) has slit pupils and multifocal lenses. Its large relatives, the grey wolf (Canis lupus lupus) and domestic dogs (Canis lupus familiaris), have round pupils.

Foxes can hunt at night better... While pack animals like wolves and dogs hunt mostly during the day....Nature's animal world is always soooo fascinating!

I'll never tire of your wildlife photos. The first one I thought the kit was looking lovingly up at his/her mom. But the way the paw is raised maybe he had some mischief on his mind. All are very nice though. Please keep them coming
