Unexpected Visitor

We have been watching and photographing a Glossy Ibis at our local lake since its arrival on 6 Apr. Glossy Ibis's are normally residents of the gulf states and have rarely been seen this far north. This is the first and only Ibis ever seen here - must have been blown off course during its normal migration route. Incredible colors show in sunlight!

Great set. Here in Louisiana, they are very common along with the White-faced Ibis which looks much the same but has red eyes.
