Here's a warning that could help you live longer.
"Getting angry – even for just a few minutes – can change the functioning of your blood vessels, which may make heart attacks and strokes more likely. The finding could explain why some people experience these events during emotional outbursts. It comes from a study in young adults who seemed to be in good health. The participants were asked to think about past experiences that made them angry while various aspects of their circulatory health were measured. Perhaps unsurprisingly, none of them had a heart attack or stroke during this process, but they did experience impaired blood vessel functioning that has been linked to such outcomes."

Interesting.
But it does not surprise me.

I've learned to stay calm as I've gotten older.

Not worth getting all hyper and red-faced.
I did not know that but am not surprised. Thanks, good to know. I too have learned to stay calm as I got older.

I can't understand why people get so worked up when they are shopping. It's ridiculous. Screaming and cursing isn't required.

Imagine what they might do if it was something
important....
I get just as mad as I ever did. It's because there is so much more to be angry about these days.
I think I’ve mellowed as I have gotten older. Instead of referring to bad drivers in words I can’t use here, I just honk at them. :-)

I'm one step beyond you. I no longer honk.

Since my first heart attack, I’ve made a point of trying to never allow myself to get really angry. I only slip up occasionally. Stress was a big part of my two heart attacks, and I alleviated almost all of that when I retired.

Yes!
to retirement.
After retiring, I realized that's why you get a good education. Get a decent job with a decent retirement plan.

Don’t ever get in a fight with a pig - you just get dirty and the pig enjoys it!
Think about THAT next time someone cuts you off in traffic!

My motto in traffic is "Yield." There are too many hotheads driving, and many of them are armed. We had two local brothers shot and killed years ago over a tailgating incident. The shooter was "justified."
So it's amazing that a couple of "always angry" politicians haven't suffered such a fate.
