These shots of the female Ruby-throated Hummingbird were imaged in late April with those of the male a few weeks later. Presented here in the order taken.

My apologies for not posting sooner. Chronic cloudy skies in South Texas, poor lighting and a less than cooperative male bird delayed capturing these two beauties.

The flowering blossoms are a Firecracker plant. Enjoy.
